Flushing Baby Wipes - Can they be flushed? (even if they say they can be)

After reading the packaging of a baby wipe packet that you read the wipes can be flushed, and this may sound all too easy. Many plumbers shake their heads with this false advertising claim and how much trouble "flushable" baby wipes can be.

Easiest way to test - hold normal toilet paper in hand basin under water and to see how it falls apart in your hand. This is safe to flush as it will break down.

Do the same with a flushable baby wipe and see if it falls apart. If it doesn't then it will cause problems in your drains and generally get blocked.
